I've always wanted to attempt a palette knife painting using gobs of paint, it was a lot of fun and a lot of paint! If you click on the image you should be able to see the thick layers piled one on top of the other....probably not going to be drying anytime soon.

Took a hike on Lane's Island, which is an island reserve connected to the island of Vinalhaven, Maine via a one lane bridge, and found this tree that deserved a portrait.

Exhibit is hung and ready to go....

I spent about an hour hanging about 2 dozen paintings at The Haven Streetside in downtown Vinalhaven, Maine. If you're in the neighborhood for the month of July please take a look.

I was fortunate enough to be in Maine during lupine season and was able to capture a photo of this sea of lupines. I've been meaning to try a painting and have finally done so. This will be on exhibit at The Haven on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine for the month of July.
